I have a bosch Dishwasher (SHE3AR72UC/22).  It is giving me an extremely confounding problem. I'm getting error code 15 which according to my googling could mean a few things.

https://www.bosch-home.com/us/owner-support/get-support/support-selfhelp-dishwasher-error-e15

Says it means there's water in the I've base trough and the leak prevention system was activated. However, looking at the parts list and diagrams it doesn't seem that my model has a leak prevention system.

Another website I found. https://repairfixit.com/dishwasher/bosch/error-code-e15/

Says the issues could be

  • The leakage sensor is not working.
  • Hose or filter has a blockage.
  • Nozzles are worn out due to lots of usages or due to irregular pressure.
  • The water sprinkler is faulty.

Again, I don't seen a listing for this sensor, the water supply hose was disconnected and turned on verifying water supply, the drain hose is new and the vent is unobstructed.

Now, I am getting no water into the system and the pump sounds like it is turning on and running for a few minutes, then turning off for about 15 minutes before starting again. I have no way to test of the sprinkler is faulty since I can't get any water into the machine but the holes are all free of building upr debris.

Also, once the machine is plugged in, it turns on and can not be turned off with the on off button.  It stays steady on the e15 code screen no matter what I press.

It sure could be. If I take it off how do I go about testing it?
