Happy 2021 folks!
My dishwasher has recently stared warping our Tervis tumblers & other dishwasher safe plastics on the top rack during the heated dry. Any thoughts on trouble shooting this? Seems like the element might be overheating or not cycling properly.

Model: 66512783k310
Serial: F30802844

Thanks!

Make sure the filter screen is clean. Does the vent fan come on at end of cycled?  The tech sheet should be in the toeplate. Pull error codes by pushing a button to wake up module and make. Then pick any 3 key except power and cancel. Push the keys 123, 123, 123 in less than 5 seconds and closed door if needed. All leds should light up the error codes will display. After the error have displayed the dish washer will go into a test cycled push cancel to stop test cycle. let us know what codes are displayed.

Hi Vance,

Thanks for the quick response!  The filter screen is clean if we’re talking about the one in the bottom of the tub. How can I tell if the vent fan comes on, is there an exhaust port or something? I was able to pull the following codes: 10-3, 9-1 & 6-2

Thanks!

Up near the top of the door.

10-3 drying fan error

9-1 diverter can't find position

6-2 fill valve

Your first error code is for the venting system. You'll need to take off the door panel to get to the module, dryer fan motor and vent. Tech sheet has the 2 parts of the drying circuit layed out with resistances and module connection. Check for loose connection and then ohm out the fan motor and the wax motor for the vent.

That fan will usually get rusted or corroded.
