Need video or description of proper wash agitation Frigidaire FWS445RFS2

Does anyone have this?

While agitating the inner tub is moving. If I hold it it will stop and the agitator will continue.

When agitating and working correctly the complete basket will do what is called "Indexing" - moves with the agitator in one direction and locking for the opposite agitate stroke.

If the one-way bearing at the bottom of the transmission fails the tub will index in both directions of agitation and will not agitate efficiently at all if this happens.

To check the bearing with the machine off try to turn the spin basket by hand.   It should be locked when trying to turn in one direction and spin freely and smooth in the opposite direction.

If the tub spins freely in both directions the one-way bearing has failed and is only available as a complete transmission - usually not worth repairing.
