GE Model: PFE29PSDBSS Serial: GA505622 compressor not turning on.

GE Model: PFE29PSDBSS  Serial: GA505622 compressor not turning on. Voltage to inverter is 120vac, compressor pins measure the same ohm reading between all 3 pins, I can't remember what it was but it was in range according to another forum I read. Signal voltage is 2.8vdc(checked while disconnected from inverter). I have checked all the thermistors in service mode and the temperatures all read ~60 degrees f . Also I checked all the fans in service mode and all worked well. I have replaced the main control board with WR55X35725. Signal voltage is still 2.8 and no cooling in fridge or freezer. What's next?

Check the inverter output to the compressor and see if the compressor isn't being driven, or if it's damaged and won't run even when powered.

If the inverter has 120VAC and 2 - 4 VDC, either the inverter is bad and not powering the compressor or the compressor is bad.

You're one measurement away from knowing which one. 8-)

Thank you Terry, it was the inverter.

I was under the impression from other forums that 2.8vdc was too low but that proved incorrect.

Thank you!

I cheated and checked the inverter documentation 8-)
