Broken Thermador surface burner- can't locate parts- PLEASE help

Hi Everyone,

I noticed that someone came here for the same help a couple of years ago.  The shaft of a surface burner cracked from my kids goofing around.  So, one burner is out of commission.  I have spent numerous hours and cannot find the right part.  The part number is 00415500.  Thermador says it is discontinued.  I ended up purchasing 00415501 and the propane line is 3/8 thread and the original is larger, likely 1/2.  I am in a jam and there was someone here a couple of years ago that was able to find the part from a member.  Can anybody help me locate 00415500  ?   Thank you so much.

Anybody know if I can replace this valve with the simmer valve 00415499 and just not have the simmer function or will this create some sort of gas leak or other issue?  I cannot believe this part is no longer available.
