GE refrigerator PSI23NGPBBB freezer shelf too narrow

Recommended Posts

Posted

The freezer's original top shelf (GE Part# 180 for this model) is barely wide enough to span the inside of the freezer compartment. It barely reaches all the way to the supports on each side and, therefore, will fall down inside the freezer compartment if any side-to-side movement occurs. There's probably a good quarter inch of "play" in the design.

TIA for any ideas,

Mark

Have seen some people use the small clamp style paper clips to extend side rails so shelves don't fall.

Those are terrible
