Hi all,I’m new.  So glad to find you.

our home came with the old Thermador wall heater.  At LEAST 20 yrs ago, it died and the Thermador brand was still available .

The newer version has the switch on the bottom, not top.

Once again, the switch has gone belly-up.  Is there a replacement switch?  Can the average Joe fix it?

Also, is there another brand that is available, that would fit right in?  Many made “overseas,” and don’t have shining reviews.

we have a 220v adjacent to the heater.  Can the 110 heater be upgraded to “more power?”
Thank you.  It’s greatly appreciated.

Do you have a model number?

Not a good idea to try and modify a heater from 120v tp 240 V. It was designed and engineered to work with that voltage. You could end up killing yourself or burning your house down by modifying it from the original. Appliance parts pros may have the switch in stock or , try eBay.  In the long run it may be cheaper just buying a new one.
