Water keeps dripping into the washer, constant flow the only way to stop it is to close the water valve where the hoses are connected at the wall. Before this happened I kept finding little black flecks in the cleaned laundry. Maybe some type of valve deteriorating? Hopefully what ever it is I can fix it, I really like this washing machine.

Your describing a water valve that is weeping. You'll need to replace the water valve in the washer.

Water valve most likely, could also be low pressure, but that is a rare occasion. If you have hard water in your area they are more prone to failure. Replaced 3 this week doing the same thing.
