KitchenAid LED Light Issues

I am having on going issues with the led lights in a KitchenAid built in refrigerator model KBSD608ESS00.  Initially I had no lights in the freezer and the fridge lights flickered but then would go out.  I replaced the Aurora board and a couple of led modules which resolved all issues.  About a month later the freezer lights are out again and one in the fridge.  Here’s a breakdown of what has been done on each side.

Fridge:

1st dispatch replaced the Aurora board issue resolved

2nd dispatch I have replaced the led in the one location not working.  Issue remains.  I verified there is more than 10vdc at the connector but known working led modules don’t work in this location.

Freezer:

1st dispatch I replaced the first two modules in the series and the issue was resolved.

2nd dispatch I replaced the first module as when the connector in the unit is jumped the rest of the freezer lights work.  Issue remains the freezer lights do not come on with known good led modules in position one of the series but if that position is jumped the rest of freezer modules light up.  I have verified this location is receiving more than 10vdc.

I am at a loss here.  I don’t understand how if the first location in the series has power and can supply power to the rest of the series when the connectors are crossed then why would it light a good module.  Any help would be appreciated.

Out of the Aurora board on J3 - pins 1 to 2 and 3 to 4 you should get 10 to 12 vdc when a door is open. Using a good led module just go down the line one at time swapping in the good module to see if light come on.  Or if you are lucky set your meter to ohms, pull a module connectors and touch your probes to the input connector red probe to + dc and black to - dc (dc grd) to see if your meter will light up the module dimly. My fieldpiece will light a good module dimly and this how i test the line to find a bad module. Sometimes there is more than one.
