Finally found the button pad/switch, but can't figure out how to install it. I can get to the button pad, but it has a long ribbon cable that requires some disassembly of the downdraft, and I can't quite figure it out. Please help!

Surprisingly, there's basically nothing on Bosch's site for this. The only thing I can find that might help with disassembly is this exploded view.
