GE Front Loading Washer Spin Issue (Model: WCVH6800J1MS)

Good Morning all,

Desperately looking for help. Our GE Front Loading Washer ( Model: WCVH6800J1MS) is having an issue where it stops before spin cycle. Once it gets to spin, the cycle stops and the START button flashes. If you hit start, the drum will do a half spin in each direction and the it stops again and the door unlocks.

Here's what I've tried so far:

-Checked all hoses for blockages.
-Cleared the filter/trap

-Replaced all four shocks

-Put it into service mode and checked for error codes. Codes 22,23 and 60 showed up.

-Performed multiple service tests including testing the spin. Machine will spin no problem during service testing  gets up to 1000 RPM no problem. But if test is run with even a towel in the drum, the whole machine starts shaking.

any idea what the issue could be? Thank you in advance!

Error codes 22 and 23 are for fill issues - check the screens in the water valve for clogging.  Error code 60 is for door lock errors.

Check the basket for play. Spin basket by hand and listen for noise - any loud roaming or rumble noise are worn bearings. Next push up on the basket to check for vertical movement, spin the basket slighty and repeat. Do this test in 9 to 12 places. Anything more than 1/64" means worn bearing or cracked spinner arm.

let us know what you find from the tests.
