Not sure if there is relays that control the lights or not. put it back together and now asking for help. i have electronic background meter

Just throwing this out there to you but check to see if the fresh food door switch for the light is possibly acting up when the door is opened. It may be a bad switch or a loose wire connection at the switch. Important !!  Power off the fridge because you will have line voltage passing through the interior light switches for your fridge. Look up the replacement part # of the refrigerators light switch for the fresh food section. Get a visual of the switch so you know where the switches holding points are !   this way you will know how to approach the removal of the switch with a thin putty knife .  A small strong 1" plastic putty knife is great for this if you know how to use it. It helps to not scratch the interior facade.  Pull the switch out and test it several times in the switch's  closed and open position.  The switch may be intemittently thinking its closed when the door is in the opened position.  If your temperatures in the fresh food section seem to be warm at times It may be a clue that the switch is acting up too.  The light might be coming on intermittently inside the fresh food section when the door is closed also .  Just something to check,  that switch is one of the very first of several things you want to look at in he issue your describing.
