LG washer WM3570H*A spin cycle not working

Recommended Posts

Hi, I have an LG front load washing machine model WM3570H*A, it will go through all the cycles just fine, but when it reaches the spin cycle the drum stops spinning and I can hear the motor whirring. It also won't drain (I've read the issue can be different if it drains or not?). I've checked the drain hose - no kinks in it and not clogged. And the trap is also clog free.

Any ideas of what could be wrong with it?

Washer is not going to spin cycle if full of water. You should see and hear water draining when the pump is humming. Prior to the start of the spin.  I suspect if the washer sits for a few minutes, you will get an error code.

Can you put it into diagnostic mode?  That would be a good place to start checking components
