Bosch Dishwasher she43r52uc/64 Pump Motor running

Recommended Posts

How fun! Helping my folks with dishwasher. Pump runs, won't stop. Intermiittant correct functioning. I pulled the brain and sure enough, burned and corroded board which is apparently typical for these units. Installed new board, did a reset. DANG! Still has pump running. Hit myself hard in forehead with hand to expedite journey to floor. Not much room under there behind kick panel. Snaked my wee fingers up over and into the pan. Water! DANG AGAIN!

So, if the float is up or stuck does it run the pump out? My ASKO DW shuts off when float is up. Not sure on Bosch unit.

Any help appreciated!

Damaged float will cause pump to run. Yes

or water in the pan will activate the float and make the drain pump run continuously as it is doing.

When I go to check for leaks at the inlet valve, do you know if these use 12V or 120V?

You better of just pulling the dishwasher removing the side panels. Then removing the water from the drain pan and doing a test wash to check for leaks. The water valve should be 120 vac.
