Perplexing Kenmore Washer issue Model 110.27082604

I looked at this washer and tried to run diagnostics.  The user interface was unresponsive.  I also tried to reset by removing power for 15 minutes.  The only thing that would happen is that the led lights would flash then unresponsive again.  I determined that the control board was bad.  I purchased a new OEM control board and installed it.  It worked fine, no problems...for 10 days.  Then the same issue re appeared.  The only thing I can think of is a power surge.  Maybe a short in the lid switch?  Any help appreciated.  Thank you.

Start with the basics. Power outlet correct voltage, polarity and ground. Recheck at the machine P13 and chassis. Presume you have the paper tech sheet. Next is check for 5vdc and 15 vac at P11 out of main module and at user interface.  You can ohm out lid switch or disconnect it, just make sure to unplug washer before removing plug to components.
