Hello all,

Here is my problem. I have an LG WT1101CW, worked fine for a long time. We started getting eu code. I changed the suspension rods. I am still getting the code. I hav been looking here and see there is a software upgrade. When I do the buttons to get the software version it get a flashing. 603  11.
can anyone guide me as to my next step. If the software has to be updated, I am assuming it need to be done by technician.

Thanks to all in advance

The update hardware, the “jig”, i normally only available to authorized reps. However ebay has opened up options for DIY’s. LG has updated the Jig software recently which has keft many if us out in the dark.  So beware of getting the jig from online unless its from a reputable seller. There is a seller on ebay That offers the jug as a rental. And includes the information on the website from where to get the update.

i woukd venture though that if your not able to gain accdess to the software version, your noard may have other issues. The model washer you have, from what I understand, the units tgat were sold in the southeast U.S. were shipped with boards with poor rekays and board components. I, being a flipper, have had several of your models pass through my doors, inckuding one i have in stock now. But im almost positive That if the version number is not able to be acccessed, it is a board issue. I may be wrong as tgere are others here with more lg experience than i, but that been my working knowledge.

best of luck,

There is a LG published service bulletin that pertains to this issue. It involves steps of detailed testing.

Not a DIY repair find a technician that has access to LG technical documentation so they can properly diagnose and repair your washer.
