Our Frigidaire Gallery dishwasher has worked great for years but yesterday it threw up error code S.

Sometimes the buttons light up all the way across the panel like it is confused. We tried cutting the power, resti g for 5 minutes and restarting, but no luck.

Console Assembly? Control board? Both? 

Or is it time to buy a new dishwasher or do these units last for more than 8 years?

Can you share your link with part number(s) And we will purchase? Can we return the parts if it is not the fix?

It’s just not that simple. First of all there is no documented “S” error code. Testing needs done to determine what is wrong. 
 

Does it start? Fill? Run?
