Help with GE TPX24SPZCBS refrigerator water leak

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I'm looking for some help with a water dispenser leak from my fridge. It only occurs when I use the water dispenser in the door, if I use the ice dispenser, it's fine.

I'm getting a water leak at the bottom of the door, so I think the tubing has a crack. I'm not sure how to access the inside of the freezer door to check and see if that's the case.

Any help would be much appreciated!

If it’s leaking from inside the actual  door, more than likely not repairable as it runs through the door inside insulation.

I've never done one, but according to the parts diagram, the water line is a replable part.

@Terry Carmen's comment made me look at parts list. Water line shows as a replacement part. Probably pulls out of the dispenser area. Just tape a wire into tubing to act as chase to help in guiding the new tube back into place.
