Kenmore 665.13263K114 dishwasher not heating/drying

Recommended Posts

My Kenmore 665.13263K114 dishwasher isn’t heating or drying. The heating element and high limit thermostat both passed the ohm test, so I replaced the control board thinking that could be the only other issue causing this. The old control board cover looked like it was blackened from something burning out. I ran a wash cycle, but it still didn’t heat. I ran a diagnostic mode cycle hoping to reset whatever would be causing this, but it’s still not heating/drying.

What am I missing?

Ohm the heater circuit from the board - should be 8 to 30 ohms. Put into daig mode pull error codes, then clear codes and then measure amp draw of heater in step 10.

I am asking about the main board

Ohms lie! Especially with heaters, I would put it into diagnostics set it for the heater to come on, put your amp clamp on the heater wires and check the current when you set it to dry. If your getting voltage out of the board and a amp reading at the heater wires you have a bad heater .
