Built in Kitchenaid Oven only heats to about 360 to 390

We have a KitchenAid KEMS308SSS05.   The lower oven starts to heat rapidly but will only get up to around 360-390 degrees and then it stays in the "preheating" cycle.   I have replaced the thermostat and that did not fix the issue.  I have the terminal block and the thermal fuse replacement parts ready but before I haul this monster out of the wall I would like your input on what you think it might be?   The lower oven does get hot but stops and then it seems to drop in temperature.   Any ideas here would be appreciated.  Thanks

Sounds like you have an issue with one of your heating elements not working right. Could be one of the elements themselves, or could be that your board isn’t sending proper power to the elements. Usually an oven will cycle both the broil and bake elements during preheat, and if one of them isn’t turning on you can get long preheat times and failure to reach temperature.
