Thermador BICM24CS coffee machine Error 1

Recommended Posts

Built in Thermador coffee maker, E-Nr. BICM24CS/03 has stopped working and shows only "Error 1" on screen.  Manual shows "machine too cold" associated with this error, which makes no sense as the machine is in the temperature controlled kitchen where it has always been with very little fluctuation in indoor temperature.  Therefore my assumption is a faulty temperature sensor somewhere.  I took every panel I could find off the machine and cleaned everything I could, hoping maybe that would help.  I also searched for something that might look like a temperature sensor but couldn't find one.  Does anyone know where this temperature sensor that indicates the machine is too cold is located and how to access it?  Any other ideas on fixing this issue?  Thank you very much in advance!
