All Appliantology tech members are invited to join in this workshop on all things Appliantological.
We have a special session planned for this one. Instead of the usual Show 'n Tell on a technical topic, we're going to post tech sheets in the comments to this Calendar Event (scroll down to see what's posted so far) and ask specific questions that can only be answered by reading the tech sheet. If you at least try to answer the questions beforehand, you'll get a lot more out of it. The tech sheet and the questions are posted in the comments section below.
Your mission, if you should choose to accept it, is to check out the questions for each one and try to answer them ahead of time. Then come to the Dojo to see how well you did!
Who: This workshop is only available to tech members at Appliantology.
When: Saturday, April 27 @10:00 AM Eastern Time.
      Where: Online via Zoom
      How:

GE JKP90BM2BB dual Oven / Microwave Primary Interlock and

I have a GE Combo Oven Microwave Range. On the microwave, I had to replace the Primary Interlock Switch. Outside of the faulty switch, I have used this Microwave for 10 years not knowing of any other issues.

As I connected the prewired plastic harness back on the new Primary switch, I noticed a difference in how it was wired (see link to harness - link 1) compared to the technical data sheet wiring diagram (see link of diagram - link 2).

If I understand correctly, according to the diagram (link 2), the Yellow wire (Y16) and White wire (W6) should connect to Primary common prong; and the two white wires W18 and W7 should connect to the Primary N.O. prong. Yet the plastic harness in link 1 is already prewired opposite of the diagram where the Yellow (Y16) and White (W6) are connected to the Primary N.O. prong, hence the White W18 and W7 are connected to the Primary common. I also researched and found that the Primary N.O. white wire W18 should connect to the Interlock Monitor Switch common (Primary N.O. to Monitor common).  Is this okay or has the plastic harness been wired incorrectly?

And if okay where should the W18 wire from the Primary connect on the Interlock Monitor Switch, common or N.C.? Again per the diagram (Link 2), W18 connects from Primary N.O. to Monitor common.

Because my harness is already prewired opposite of the diagram, should W18 now connect from the Primary Common N.O. to the Monitor P.C., or should I still connect to Monitor common?

Or is there danger for me to rewire the plastic harness per the diagram?
