How to initiate test in diagnostic mode of GE Profile Refrigerators Model # PFS22SBSBSS?

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I'm trying to initiate test in diagnostic mode of GE Profile Refrigerators Model # PFS22SBSBSS.

I can enter into diagnostic mode by pressing both COLDER and WARMER pad of Adjust Freezer Temp pad and both COLDER and WARMER pad of Adjust Refrigerator Temp pad.

How do I initiate test after enter codes...Let's say that I want to do Fan Test which I think is entering 1 in Adjust Freezer Temp and 1 in Adjust Refrigerator Temp.   What do I need to do after enter 1 and 1 to initiate test?

I just cleaned the condenser coil and now the freezer temp keep rising at 20 now but refrigerator temp is at 35.  It is very quiet.  I wonder whether the condenser is not working at all or fan is not running.

Thanks for any help.

Peter

Here is a snippet on how to work diagnostics.

You said the condenser fan is not running . have you done a voltage measurement on the fan ? From the wiring diagram it looks to be 12v DC fan .

To the MST family , if I broke any rules showing the snippet I will remove it ASAP .

Hi Daniel,

Thanks for the reply.  I already have this information too but after I don't know how to initiate the test after entered 1,1.   There is no other button between warmer/colder button in this model.

Thanks,

Peter
