GE model DPGT750GC0PL dryer is not getting any power. Tried power button, tried unplugging and plugging in again and still won’t get any power.

The light in the dryer is working so I’m thinking it has something to do with the control panel

You will need a schematic. Its possible that something was over heated and a thermal protection circuit opened up. If it stops working but then all of a sudden starts working then thermal protection is a very good possibility. If I am right then a few more things need to be checked. Look for a clogged exhaust vent. If the air cannot vent then heat builds up internally. Don't forget about the lint screen and trap. Is the fan turning? You may have a bad bushing that is slowing down the rotation or not allowing rotation at all. Most of these are easy to find and check. Before condemning the brain as the culprit make sure the fingers are working first. It will save you some money in the long run.
