Manufacturer: Ge
Type of Appliance: Washer
Model Number: gfw490rpkrr
Have you validated the model number at an online parts site like Repair Clinic? (yes or no): Yes
Have you watched the video on how to search for manuals and have you searched the Downloads section prior to posting this request? (yes or no): Yes

I’ve watched the videos, I tried to look it up on on repair clinic, it’s not there but it is in retail places. I’m new on the job and I’m trying to figure this out. It seems like every time I look something up it has everything up to the model I need. I got something for this but it stopped at gfw480. I’m also posting for a washer after this. Please bear with me.

That is only a part of the model number: It is important to get the full model number an I'm guessing it is GFW490RPK0RR for the Washer and the Dryer is GFD49ERPK0RR: Then go to a parts source like https://www.partadvantage.com

And put your model number in there and found the mini manual as GE calls it and then come back to and search that Pub number and that will give you the mini manual on this site to download:Whirlpool the same way. They calls there's a tech sheet most of the time! We will help you anyway we can.It don’t bother anyone here for us to give you a tech sheet or whatever!

So lets take the washer GFW490RPK0RR: You go to that parts site or whatever site you like and put in that model number & in this case it is under controls & Dispenser and you find the mini manual 31-16858 and then lookout up here on Appliantology.org: That is one way! Here is a screen shot on that parts site with the mini manual number:
