Manufacturer: Crosley
Type of Appliance: Refrigerator
Model Number: GS24**D***
Have you validated the model number at an online parts site like Repair Clinic? (yes or no): Yes
Have you watched the video on how to search for manuals and have you searched the Downloads section prior to posting this request? (yes or no): Yes

I need a service manual, parts break down or schematic for an old Crosley GS24**D*** double door refrigerator. The * in the model number causes every site I've tried to search problems. I need defrost parts or at least a schematic so I can "retrofit" some type of defrost system. It has two defrost heaters in series. I have attached the only model information I could find.

I appreciate your help,

Tony T

Went to service matters and used gs24* and came up with a maytag GS24B8C3IV. Check out the parts breakdown to see if it close enough. For the model tag try looking up at the ceiling or down by the door hinge area or  in the freezer.

That's definitely the parts breakdown. And of course the defrost heater is unavailable.

As far as looking up and down, I've looked all over it and that energy tag is the only marking on it other than the crosley logo on the door.

Thanks for your help.
