Dishonorable Amana Icemaker Model ASD2275BRS01, Serial HR52832503 not making ice

The icemaker doesn't work unless the fridge is unplugged for a few minutes, then it works for about 2-3 ice harvest cycles and quits.

 

I can't find any schematics or troubleshooting steps, so any assistance is greatly appreciated!

From the parts list at partselect the icemaker is just an old fashion modular icemaker with a bimetal thermostat.

Freezer temp at 0 degrees?

Have to locate a thermometer, but everything is frozen solid, including the ice that is being made.

Freezer is set one click above the lowest temp.
