Also, could someone please explain the whole "depends on the serial number" thing?

How does the whole  model number/letter at the end/serial number principle work?

Tech Sheet uploaded - awaiting approval. This company's parts vary depending on the model number break. So, when ordering parts or following the tech sheet, pay very close attention to the serial number break.
