Query Concerning an LG LRDCS2603S Refrigerator.

A bit outside the scope of this forum I know, but LG has certainly been no help. We recently acquired this unit, sight unseen. :( The fresh food compartment has the capability of having split shelves, but so far searches have produced no results. Much wasted space is the result.Thank you for your time.

Look at the refrigerator on a couple of web sites. They show the shelves go across the cabinet:

I took note of the attachment points in the center of the cabinet. It was that observation that made me wonder if split shelves were available. Our retired to back up duty 32 year old Amana had that feature and it proved to be most useful.

We started missing them yesterday. :(

Thanks for the reply.

Think the oval holes are part of the air duct system. Usually they use a metal bracket inset into the back wall for shelves.

Another 'great' thought sinks to the bottom of Davy Jone's locker. :) Thanks for the insight.
