Hi,

I have a GE GFE29HSDASS refrigerator which has two ice makers. Both are very slow making ice. They do make ice, just slowly.

I have the temp set to 0 and it generally stays at 10 or below according to the display. The water filter is relatively new and I have plenty of water pressure in my home.

Is this normal for this model? What are the first things to look for in this scenario?

Thanks.

Most slow ice calls I go on are simply normal production.

from your owners manual.

The ice maker will produce seven cubes
per cycle approximately 100–130 cubes
in a 24-hour period, depending on freezer compartment temperature, room temperature, number of door openings and other use conditions.

That might be because of the filter of your refrigerator. You could check if its clear.
