Viking VGSC3064BBU Burner igniter doesn't shut off

Good Day, Senseis;

Our venerable Viking stove has worked flawlessly for eight years (and I think it was at least ten years old when we got it), but recently developed an annoying mystery.  When a burner lights, the igniter continues to click away, and doesn't stop until we shut the burner off.  Hoping it's a simple matter to address myself.  Checked where visible, don't see any obvious gunk where it shouldn't be.  Thoughts?

Appreciation in advance for any insights.

Cheers,

Geoff, Royal Oak MI

Sounds like the wiring harness from the spark module to the burner valves, but wait to hear what others say.

 Is it just one igniter that keeps sparking? Usually indicates a bad ground through the burner head itself. Remove the burner head and clean with a wire brush, make sure there’s no oil or gunk underneath burner head or burner top.
