Diagnostic test mode for Two drawer, undercounter Kitchenaid fridge model KUDF204ESB00

I have this three year old fridge.  It started freezing up and I've been attempting to research & troubleshoot the problem.  I have found the shop manual for an older version of this unit.  All of the info is exactly like my unit with one critical exception, the control panel is a bit different and the instructions for entering into test/diagnostic mode don't work on my unit.

Kitchenaid will not assist me.

The instructions for the two tests I'd like to do are:

1.  defrost test: hold "Max Cool" and "Holiday" simultaneously for three seconds.  I don't have a Holiday button but I have a Sabbath button.  I can't get this to work and I've tried many combinations of buttons.

2.  energize evaporator fan mode: Hold "Max Cool" and "-" simultaneously for three seconds.  Can't get this to work either.

Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

Attached is a photo of my control panel.

Thank you.  Per your recommendation on my other string, I have tested out continuity on each of the wiring harnesses.  All check out.  Additionally, cooling functionality (per the manual I have) checks out.  Compressor, fans, thermisters, etc. seem to be functioning exactly as the manual says they should.  What I cannot check out is the defrost mode functionality.  If I had the sequence commands to trigger the defrost test mode, I'd be able to most likely pin down the problem.  Thanks in advance to anyone who has the ability to look this up for me.

Testing the defrost functionality without being able to trigger defrost test mode.

the wiring harness continuity is testing good.  (good continuity.)

The thermal fuse continuity tests & looks good.

however, the resistance on the heater loop is 103u.   From what I've read, a heater loop should have full or nearly full continuity.    Does this look like my problem?

Thanks in advance.

Just rigged up a 120v test for the heater loop.  It heats to between 150-190 degrees depending on where I point my heat sensor.  So, right now, every wire and component associated with defrosting has appeared to test out ok.

I'm back to trying to find out the button sequence to put the fridge into defrost test mode.  Anyone?

They probably don't actually know; I'm pretty sure this is a sourced unit, meaning Kitchenaid/Whirlpool didn't actually design it. I think I've run into the same unit in Bosch trim as well. Kitchenaid doesn't list a diagnostic mode in the tech sheet for this unit.
