I have a roper dryer that keeps blowing a thermal fuse. What could make it keep blowing

 depends on which one,  vent to outside, shorted element, bad operating thermostat

I always look at the vents first if a fuse keeps blowing esp if it vents straight up or is a long run. Also was it a factory part or amazon? some knockoffs will not last very long that is why they are so cheap.
