Looking for the service manual or how to put this in defrost mode. Mini manual does not explain how to force defrost. Any help is appreciated.

I'm not seeing a manual from GE for that exact model. Does anyone else know of a manual that would apply?

Control board WR55X10942P forced defrost.

After doing some further research I found that the only way to put this into defrost to test the heater and thermostat is to put a jumper between Line and J9 and apply power to unit. I used alligator clips with a fuse to jump them and it worked!

I’m not sure if this is the most conventional way to jump it but it worked!

@BigGuap I don’t know if you have seen this bundle of information before but take a look at it:
