Help with air damper door Maytag MSD2756AE How does this go back together?

Have an old Maytag side-by-side. Fridge was not cooling properly...checked compressor, coils - all fine.  jumped to conclusion that ADC board was bad as I remembered from this site from several years ago (when same thing happened) that ADC boards are notorious and go bad. Fixed it several years ago, and all was well.  Parts for this fridge are not very available anymore, but ADC Board was. So I replaced it - fine. But when I was putting the control assembly back together, somehow the air damper door came off. I still have the spring, but I cannot remember or find a diagram or picture of how the damper door is supposed to go together.  So frustrating. 

I will attach pictures of the damper door. and the damper door housing. There's a diagram of the controls available online, but all the parts are separated and can't see how this fits together.

Can anyone explain or post a picture of how this is supposed to fit together? I am not even sure which side of the do faces the freezer vs the fridge

Feel like an idiot! Would appreciate any help.
