so my older fridgidaire fridge decided to leak water,it runs though the fridge area and into the crisper trays.i assume that the drain is plugged but am unsure of where to attack this problem from.do i pull the tray out of the freezer or is the drain above the fridge area control?

                                                                                        thanks

I believe this model is a top bottom fridge correct? If so, The drain in the freezer may be clogged. When the unit goes into defrost it is probably melting the ice and leaking thru the damper opening that allows cold air to flow to the fridge. The drain is located in the freezer behind the back panel. Be careful the fins on the evaporator are very sharp. I usually unclogged with a steamer and small bottle brush.
