Have an Amana Fridge ARS9269BS. The freezer is not freezing. The freezer get down to about 40 degrees Fahrenheit. Noticed that the evaporator coil‘s are not freezing completely. Only small ice build up near the first bend.

Condenser coil‘s are now clean. (Had some normal dust/dirt) Condenser fan seem to be working fine. Evaporator fan working. I am assuming there isn’t any issue with the defrost thermostat since it’s evap coils aren’t freezing up. Compressor sounds like it’s running.

Question can I jump the thermostat wires? Maybe it’s faulty and kicking off the compressor to soon.

Or my other guess is either I have a clog in the system, and is why evap only freezing at one point. Or there is a leak and I am low freon.

Is there anything else I can check or missing?A8352D2F-8300-4352-B695-86E0F5F501FA.thumb.jpeg.68b9bdbed0ac7f681483c149ff2d6b64.jpeg
