Manufacturer: Thor
Type of Appliance: Gas Range
Model Number: LRG3001U
Have you validated the model number at an online parts site like Repair Clinic? (yes or no): Yes
Have you watched the video on how to search for manuals and have you searched the Downloads section prior to posting this request? (yes or no): Yes

Any of you have access to their service manual? Thanks!

It's here:

Bring an air sled. Nearly every service procedure requires pulling the unit out and the legs won't handle just being pulled out.

Thanks! Hmmm. I don't have an air sled. . . The oven isn't heating so it may be the igniter. I can't see any specs for the amp draw. Also, Thor will apparently have to ship the part to me which will mean a second trip.

The igniter is front service, however if the thermostat is bad, I think you have to pull the range out to run the capillary tube.

Thanks so much for your help!

Happy to help.

If it needs an igniter and is out of warranty, I'm pretty sure it's a normal 501 igniter and you can use whatever you have in stock like the Frigidaire 5303935066.

Double check the current rating on the gas valve. It should say 3.4-3.6 amps.

That would save you another trip and a half hour of trying to order the igniter from Thor and 2 weeks waiting for it to show up.

Terry,

looking for a service manual Dual Oven 48 inch gas range, need a service manual to replace the thermostats in both ovens.  Parts are universal and parts ordered, Have a Air Sled - Model number located on the back, so I did not want to disturb the installation prior to having the parts so that I don't have to risk pulling it twice.

As far as I know, the service manual I posted the link for it is the only one that exists.

I believe changing the main oven thermostat requires pulling the range out, removing the bullnose that covers up all of the knobs and I think removing the right hand side panel.

This might be incorrect however since the first one I did was also the last. It was so hard getting the right parts that I just gave up on the brand.

I just email them through there email address @Terry Carmen in the service manual he posted above and within 15 minute they sent me the same service manual posted and they said: Please see attached our service manual for all of our range tops. Thank you: I was very surprised!
