Sharp Drawer Microwave arcing issue Model KB6525PS

Started happening after years of use. On typical microwaves, a wave guide replacement resolves this issue.  It seems the drawer microwaves have more issues.  Incompatibility between magnetron and waveguide?  There is a class action lawsuit regarding this and other models.  Design error the claim is.  My question is Has anyone been able to resolve this issue with Sharp Drawer microwaves?  The wave guide on these is on the top surface of the microwave interior.  I have read that once the arcing starts, there may be no fix. I do not know if this is true.  Anyone with experience on these drawer microwaves, please chime in.

This part is generically true for all microwaves. Have no idea about any class action suit.
