Ok Senseis My GE pdw7880g00ss dishwasher has a blown transorb (shorted, .5Ohm resistance). Any temporary replacments I can put in until I can get a WD35X10025

Hi, turns out I have a shorted (failed) transorb on my GE pdw7880g00ss dishwasher.

The transorb is supposed to be 100K Ohms resistance but mine measures at a whopping 0.5 Ohms. 

Needless to say I've blown the first, and now the 2nd flood switch before I realized and dug into what was happening as my model has a transorb wired in parallel with the water valve.

it's just a 

 1.5KE220CA Bi-directional TVS Diode

(about $1)

1500w peak 220v C = bi-directional

with 2 wires on each end. I feel like maybe I'll be able to source a TVS Diode near me, are they easy to find?? (I live in a big city on the east coast US)... even if just temporarily until I can get the overpriced official GE Transorb?

Check to see if there is a newark or digikey jn your city other wise a web order should get you one.

Thanks, and does this: "1.5KE220CA Bi-directional TVS Diode" seem correct per the first "user manual" post? (before I go an accidentally buy the wrong thing).
