Monogram zis420nrk side by side refridge, freezer not freezing

I seem to remember having a similar symptom awhile back.  I guess I didn't ask for help here, because I don't see a post for:

Last night noticed the light in the fridge half (side by side) wasn't working. big deal, bulb is out.

But tonight (not having been the freezer for at least 24 hours) I found a puddle of water under the freezer door. opened the freezer. previously rock hard stuff is now soft. figured something flaky light out now on. etc.

LCD temp reading in the fridge,  for the freezer, was 36. Well I can hear it running now, so give it time.  apparently not, its at 39 now.

Often the big ball (condenser?) in the "works" area on top of the unit is warm/hot to the touch. Its room temp.

Awhile back I remember the door was left ajar, and things got warm and wouldn't cool.

I seem to recal there was a "routine" you had to follow, and it might take 24 hours.  This situation isn't identical (door wasn't left open for a while) but seems close.

Does anybody know what the routine/timing is for a reset/before the freezer will kick in again?

thanks everyone

I've done some poking around (and disposal) (and mopping).  I can hear the fan behind the compressor running. I took the freezer light cover off.  There is cool air movement in the back of the freezer side. The compressor is still cool to the touch.

I'm trying to get this 400lb monster out of its cubby. I know I've done this before. Ahhh, age.  Or am I forgetting something? Like locking wheels?
