Kenmore 600 series Washer - User interface Communications Error

Initially the control panel did not come on & this was verified by testing for output power from the control board. Installed new control panel & control board and unit was operational for 24 hours. Upon return visit found that unit had faulty control board & shipped back to manufacturer. After returning & installing new board, unit display does not let me select any functions & gives error sound. Also, constant locking attempt from the door switch. We have performed test's #1 & #4 from the service manual to no avail. Any tips, tricks and reccomendations would be appreciated.
