Thermador Dishwasher issues - Model # DWHD651GFP/01

Hello,

 

I have two issues:

 

1)  Sometimes when I press "extra dry", the "Crystal" next to it illumines as well...plus, the delayed cycle displays "24".  Every time I try to change it, it will change the hours of the delay cycle.  Sometimes I can press Extra Dry and Crystal back and forth and finally the Extra Dry will light by itself.  Then I use the + button to increase the delay hours to "0" or zero.  

Is this a faulty control panel or the control box underneath it?

2)  Sometimes lately, when I start the dishwasher....the initial draining continues to run and run much longer than normal.  I cleaned the filter well and checked the drain hose (which does go up hill; through the panel; back downhill where it connects under the sink.  But it has been the this for 10 years.  If I open the dishwasher door while it is running excessively to drain and shut it....the drain motor stops and the cycle resumes normally.  If I don't do the above, occasionally the E24 error code is displayed (yet the filter and hose seem to be unclogged.

 

Thanks for your time and suggestions!!  I have sold my house and want to repair the issues (unfortunately the control panel may not be available or in stock anywhere)!!
