Saw the previous post on troubleshooting and note the following.

Placing a damp wash cloth over sensor bars does yield an incrementing counter from 0-1200 in service mode but at some point it continues above 1200 and cycle still only lasts 5 min.

Trying to troubleshoot my dry sensor.  Previous post indicated that in dry sensor service mode the counter should increment from 0-1200 if working properly.  I placed a damp washcloth over the sensor to simulate humidity.  The counter increments from 0-1200 but at some point it continues over 1200 and the cycle only lasts 5 min.  Thoughts?

Hi could you provide the full model number? Do you have any error codes? What issues are you having with the dryer? Normally when testing the dry sensor I put the unit in the corresponding test mode, touch the sensor with two fingers and watch the display change state. More information is needed to properly guide you.
