I see that the motor on my dishwasher has a lot of dustbunnies around the openings - tried vacuuming, but what else should I do to remove this crap from the motor underneath?

Also, I have a leak showing up, reddish color - just a bit from left side of the door, and occasionally a bit on the right - replacing the two black baffles on each side of the door - one looked just a little distorted - door seal looks good to me - just ran dishwasher with panels off, no leak of any sort. If I fill the rinse aid too high - but cover with washer still goes on fine - would that cause this?

If you can’t effectively vacuum the dust away from the motor while at rest. Then you would have to Uninstall the appliance and lay it on its side. The reddish water droplets are from rust. I normally notice rust on these models at the kick plates. But make sure the unit is level, no cracks in the spray arms, if the seals don’t look rough replace them.

replaced the tiny pump inlet seal, I think it is called - no more leaks.  Now not getting water much if any - ordered water inlet valve, then will pull my hose connections to make sure I did not cover part of inlet with teflon tape - float looks good, very amateur DIY'er here -
