I’ve been trying to get my ice maker to produce ice with no success.  Looked at all the obvious places: supply valve, water to the door,etc.  I’ve looked up the trouble shooting tips on the Whirlpool site:  Nothing.  My question is this:  how do i confirm that the infrared sensor is working in the ice supply location?  I’m grabbing at straws now but I wanna check everything in the pipeline.  Please advise

Does the ice maker harvest, or fill when you test it? Did you check the filter and housing?
