Kenmore Dryer 110.75962401—intermittent ringing sound when running

Hi guys,

My dryer is starting to make unexpected noise. The last couple of loads of laundry have been accompanied by what I would describe as a ringing sound while the dryer is running. It is not constant in that it seems to come and go. Stopping and restarting the dryer sometimes makes it go away, but it often returns. I'm thinking some lubrication could help but am at a loss as to where to begin. Any direction would be greatly appreciated.

Nope nothing lube-able. Probably needs new drum rollers or idler pulley.

Lube attracts lint in dryers.
