I have a GE Fridge/Freezer.  I am getting water dripping down the rear into the fridge.  I have a container there and empty it every week.  The food in the fridge develops frost.  I feel the freezer stays off too long during the cycles.  Food in freezer doesnt stay frozen sometimes.  I emptied the freezer and defrosted and cleaned the coils.  Didnt help.  Weather stripping is fine.  It seals.  I have the dial all the way on the coldest.  What can be the problem?  Thermostat or thermistor?  Model is GTS18ICSWRBB.  Humidity or little drops of water form on the inside of the door and freeze also.  Thanx in advance

Frost in a freezer is probably from outside air infiltrating the freezer compartment.  Look at the gasket closely.  Sometimes you can see how the frost forms in a line or a fan-like pattern radiating from the air leak.

GE top mount fridges can leak water into the fresh food compartment when the evaporator drain line is clogged and/or obstructed with ice.

I use a clothing steamer to blow out evaporator drain lines, personally.  Sometimes a piece of string trimmer cord from your Weedeater will help with clogs.

Breading, packaging, etc from frozen foods get into the evaporator drains.  YOu said that you defrosted and cleaned the coils.  Did water go down the drain easily?  or did you have to vacuum or mop up all of the water from the freezer compartment?
