Kenmore Elite Upright Freezer 253.29082992 not freezing

I have a Kenmore Elite Upright freezer (manuf. 7-00) that just stopped freezing. (model 253.29082992) The alarm did not sound, and when I select the "Quick Freeze" on the panel, the green light comes on and you can hear the freezer kick on.  The power light is also on all the time.  Internal lights work all the time as well.  It will run as long as you keep the quick freeze mode engaged. (yes, every 24 hours pushing the button)  It hasn't been moved or unplugged in approximately 9 months.  It is not overpacked and it is level on the floor. It is kept in an indoor utility room.  I have noticed small amounts of frost build up at the top of the door for the last 18 months or so which I clean and remove.  I figured that was from frequent opening.  You can hear the door seal when you close it. Any thoughts?  I believe from the manufacturing date, the freezer is going on 22 years, so it just may be time to replace.

Kinda sounds like an electronic control issue if the "Quick freeze"  is the only thing working. The control shows nla at sears parts direct.  Not sure if anyone is rebuilding that module.
