Maytag MHW8630HWH - Won't start a cycle

Hello.  I have a two year old Maytag MHW8630HWH that will not initiate any cycle.  When we put a new load in, we select the desired cycle and we're hear several "clicks" almost like a solenoid or something is trying to actuate.  The cycle never begins.  There are no error codes displayed and the door never locks.  The unit just sits there.  Powering the unit off or leaving the breaker turned off for a period of time did not fix the problem.

I did a bit of research and was hoping it was the door latch motor, so I grabbed a new one and installed it, part #W11316250.  The same symptoms are occurring, so thinking it's not the door latch but now I don't have a clue where to go from here.  The next service appt is March 1, and I was hoping this was going to be a simple fix which is why I took the gamble on the door latch, but it's not and will have to wait an extended period with a grumpy wife.

Anyone have any ideas?  Would appreciate any feedback.  Thanks.
